Lisa Garrett-Farhat, M.Ed., LPC, RPT
I began working with children, teens, and families in 1999 and I opened my private practice in 2007. I am licensed by Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and registered with the International Association for Play Therapy. I received a B.B.A from Baylor University and a M.Ed. from The University of North Texas.
My husband, David, and I are both from Arlington originally. We have been married since 2003. At that time, we lived in Midland. We returned to Arlington a year later, and then moved to Weatherford in 2009.
We have two daughters and we share our home with two dogs, two horses, one rabbit and a bunch of cows. I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I have a love/hate relationship with my home gym and also with my phone. I pin recipe ideas just in case I ever start cooking... it hasn't happened yet, but I'm really good at cleaning up someone else's mess in the kitchen! I enjoy road trips and design projects and I like reading books, especially if I'm on a beach.
